The First Unitarian Society of Westchester, like every UU congregation, is entirely self supporting. Congregations are empowered to make their own decisions and create in whatever way we choose. One example can be seen in that the UUA "credentials" its ministers, but congregations "call" and "ordain" them.
Along with empowerment and choice comes the responsibility of funding ourselves. We ask members to donate annually to our operating budget. Likewise, if you are moved to support the Mission of the First Unitarian Society of Westchester, we would be most grateful. Any gift supporting the life of our community, is graciously received. Gifts of any amount have a powerful and lasting impact toward sustaining our mission:
To Nurture Community, Advance Justice, Deepen Spirituality, and Shape the World in Our Image of Love!
