Shared Summer Worship Service, with UUCHV-Croton
Sunday, August 1, 10:00am, “We Have Passed The 8th Principle, Now What?”
Eddy Fried, Worship Leader
Six weeks ago, the UUCHV voted to approve The 8th Principle. In their discussions about this new 8th Principle, the congregants shared much about becoming an anti-racist church. When are our discussions powerful encouragement to embrace necessary change? When might they be simple “political correctness”? The only true answer lies within each of us. In this service, we will delve into what The 8th Principle can mean for each of us and our community. We hope to open up the infinite ways each of us can contribute to this movement, to make this a better, more just and inclusive world.
