Alternatives to Landfills

1. Sell on Facebook Marketplace (Look for the little house icon at the top of the FB page)

2. See if your community has a Buy Nothing Facebook group and join it. (In the search bar, type in Buy Nothing and the name of your town)

3. Donate to a thrift shop near you. Also check out Greendrop  Charitable Donations | GreenDrop (gogreendrop.com)

4. Bring your item(s) to the Hastings Take It Leave Garage. See their website for hours and what they accept. Hastings ZERO WASTE - TILI Garage

5. Donate furniture in good condition to Furniture Sharehouse Home - Furniture Sharehouse

6. Check with your town's Department of Public Works to see if they recycle appliances and electronics
