As a liberal religious community, we seek the ways of love and work to shape the world in that image.  We do this according to our Principles and Purposes (as written in the bylaws of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations) and therefore covenant to affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person.  This covenant extends to our expectations regarding all members of this online community.

We are not a creedal faith; we do not require each person believe in one doctrine nor do we believe that revelation has occurred once and for all time.  (Revelation continues to unfold and we remain open to new ways of knowing.)  Without a creed to hold us together, we have only our decision to be for, and to be with, each other.  This decision is our covenant, it is the container that holds us.

Therefore, the way we treat each other is the way we live our faith.  Our strongest theological expression is lived in our intentional relationship with each other.  This web site is an extension of that covenant.  We are therefore called to kindness and compassion fueled by a generosity of spirit. 

By registering to become a member of this online community, you are entering a covenant with all other members, agreeing to live your faith through your interpersonal comportment.  If you agree to affirm the inherent worth and dignity of all people, if you agree to respect the individual search for truth and the ongoing nature of revelation from many sources, we welcome your membership and look forward to all you have to offer as we live our faith together.
