Religious Education and Faith Development for Adults

There are many options for the adult seeker:

The Shared Pulpit
An important part of our theology is the recognition that everyone has equal access to Truth. One way we manifest        that belief in our congregations is lay led services. This workshop is designed to help our members find their voices,      tell their stories and articulate their theologies as a worship leader. Four-part Autumn workshop: Wednesday                  mornings on October 4, 18, November 1, 15 at 11:00 am OR Four-part winter workshop: Tuesday evenings on January          16, 30, February 6, 30 at 7:00 pm. Contact Rev. Clarke to register.

Community Coffee
On the third Tuesday of every month, Rev. Clare will be available at a local coffee shop from 10-11 for anyone        who'd like to stop by for a chat.

Minister's Mind

Rev. Clarke holds open discussions one Sunday a month to talk about congregational+denominational life.

Common Read
Every year a new book is chosen by the UUA and we have a book group to discuss.

Defying Gravity
The Metro NY District sponsors a  workshop for leadership training and faith formation each fall at the                   Shelter Rock congregation on Long Island.

General Assembly
Thousands of UUs gather every June to deepen our shared faith.
